SUNRISE CHALLENGE
We’ve got a challenge for you.
One of the best viewing spots for the Alhambra is at the Mirador de San Nicolas— and as such, it is always heaving with people, especially in the evenings. “Everyone and their mother”, as Gideon would put it.
As you may know, we are morning people. We got engaged at sunrise in Dunwich Beach! So our solution? Go watch the sunrise instead of the sunset.
The sunrise in Granada in June will be at around 6:50am, and we recommend arriving maybe 20 minutes beforehand. Climb up the mirador, and watch one of the most stunning views in the world— pink skies, the light slowly rising over the Alhambra. You wont regret it - and your only company will be the sparrows and the pigeons.
Unless a lot of you turn up, of course.
